  • In 2017- Vi Lyles was elected as Charlotte, North Carolina’s first female African-American mayor
  • In 2017- Yvonne Spicer was elected the first mayor of the city of Framingham, Massachusetts
  • In 2017- Wilmot Collins elected mayor in Helena, Montana, becoming the first Black mayor in Montana history
  • In 2017- Voters in St. Paul, Minn., made history by electing Melvin Carter as the city’s first African-American mayor.

A Greeting From Our President

It is with great pride and honor that you the residents have allow myself and Board members to serve and advocate on your behalf . The Association under my leadership has implemented Annual Community Reunion & Friends Day ,Scholarships for High School Graduates, Thanksgiving Turkeys , Halloween Treats, Easter Baskets for our youth, Christmas with Santa , Annual Scholarship Bus Ride. Our new Program for 2025 is a Reimbursement program for students attending private Schools through an annual Raffle.

We aren't done implementing additional programs more to come.

Finally, as we look back onto the shoulders we stand on we continue to seek your support to maintain their legacy. With your support we can create even more legacies.
